We are a private retreat center
When you’re at Ancient Oak Retreat, you don’t have to look in mirrors. Instead, you’re either focused on the setting around you, or on what you are doing, like climbing, meditating, or just being in the moment.

Piute Peak
Native History
Paiute (/ˈpaɪjuːt/; also Piute) refers to three non-contiguous groups of indigenous peoples of the Great Basin. These three groups, although related within the Numic group of Uto-Aztecan languages, do not form a single node within that group. The term “Paiute” does not refer to a single, unique, unified group of Great Basin tribes, but is a historical label.
Ancient Oak retreat is 15 acres located in the foothills of the southern sequoia national forest, surrounded by the area’s most famous Giant Sequoia: Kern River, Pacific Crest Trail, Tehachapi Loop and much more. You’ll notice the feeling of peace and serenity the moment you step onto the property!
